I was born and raised in Florida and I developed a passion for all things outdoors at a very young age. I have fished the greater Tampa Bay Area for 20 years and was fortunate enough to grow up fishing with and learning from some of the best guides Florida has ever seen. They became role models to me and I knew one day I would become a Captain like them. Through my experience, I learned every nook and cranny of the Tampa Bay waterways and how to fish them at a very high level. I also learned how to be a steward of the fisheries and the importance of conservation in our waterways.

 

Growing up I did two things—play baseball and fish (and honestly, I loved to fish more). I ended up playing baseball at NC State and then professionally for 5 years with the Milwaukee Brewers. Now that I’m retired from baseball, I’ve decided to pursue my passions for the outdoors and become a full time fishing and hunting guide.

Helping others to have their dream outdoor experience, whether it’s fishing or hunting is something I truly love and enjoy. I want to share my passions with you and give you the best experience you’ve ever had. After a trip with me I hope to show you and bring you a new profound joy and respect for Gods creation and the beauty that our state encompasses.
